Excellent. Four of us ( 2 couples) stayed here 18-22 september 2009. 500 metres from the city centre, 500 metres from the Wies'n (Oktoberfest) and 300 metres from the main train station. Perfect location. Comfortable rooms and a hearty breakfast. Friendly staff. We'd come back with no hesitation and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was our first time visiting Munich and I am glad we chose to stay at the Brunnenhof. It was in an excellent location, nice and quiet but only a few minutes walk from the centre. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms tidy, breakfast was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. I would thoroughly recommend staying at the Brunnenhof and would definitely return.

We have traveled to Munich many, many times, and stayed at many different hotels, and our favorite for the past 4-5 years is the Hotel Brunnenhof on Schillerstrasse. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and the staff is very accomodating.
The thing we like most is the location--just a short walk from the main train station, and close to the Marianplatz and restaurants.
Parking is available on the property, but limited. All in all, a good value for your dollar.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights from May 2, 2006. We got a double bed room. The room was very simple without any fancy decoration but the room was large and there was an extrabed. The bathroom was small but there was a tub. You can borrow hairdryer if you need to. Breakfast was about average. The parking was very narrow and small and my husband who drove a compact wagon had hard times parking in there. You need to drop your car key at the front desk so that they can move the car whenever they need to. There're a lot of one-way streets in the neighbor, so you may want to check a map in advance if you drive to get there.

The hotel is located near the main train station (too far to walk with your luggages, though) and the area is middle-eastern neighbor with lots of Arabic signs, which I was concerned a little bit to walk in the evening. Nextdoor was a Turkish restaurant and the dish I had was delicious! The hotel doesn't have laundry service but there's a laundromat two street down (the hotel had the ad) and it was convenient. You can drop off your laundry in the morning and pick them up later in the evening or of course you can wash your own stuff.

"Loved the Hotel Brunnenhof in Munich"

from Royal Oak, Michigan 28. Feb 2006

My daughters and I just got back from this wonderful hotel in Munich and must highly recommend it for location, service and price.

It is about 10 minutes from the main square (Marienplatz) and 5 minutes from the Central Station (Haupbanhof). Both are walking times.

The staff could not have been more accomodating, breakfast service was great, as was the food.

The price was fantastic. No games, you get a straight price, depending on the number of beds.

The rooms were spotless.

We loved it. I'd go back in a minute.
